We have different chemicals mixed in each tank, ready to target different trees, shrubs, and insects. If we sprayed a broadband insecticide, it might get a little of everything, but we might not want to kill everything.

Tree spraying insecticides only have a residual of 10-14 days. Insects also only really have certain times or cycles in their lives, where any of the insecticides will actually kill them.
