Organic Seed Mixes to Promote Beneficial Insects

We sell a variety of specialty seed mixes that attract beneficial insects and organisms. Long term, this is a great way to cut down your cost of maintaining your horticulture and entire property.

If we can develop an environment that naturally sustains your horticulture landscape, keeps your plants healthy, and promotes healthy growth of insects and bacteria that fight bad insects and bacteria, we have made great strides for the environment and the next generation that will enjoy it.

This is definitely not an over-night cure-all. It will take years before these plants are established enough to make a difference. 1 lb bags cover up to 4,000 sq. feet, 5 lb bags cover up to 20,000 sq. feet, and 50 lb. bags cover up to 200,000 sq ft.

Beneficial seed mix: Attract, and feed beneficial insects, provide ground cover for unused areas:

1 pound bags: 50.00

Floral mix: A wildflower mix to attract beneficial insects. Provides pollen and nectar for insect feeding. Gophers do not like the pollen and smell of this mix, and this seed will provide an organic way to repel gophers.

1 foot to 3 feet height wildflower mix: 1 pound: 50.00
1 foot and under height wildflower mix: 1 pound: 50.00
3 feet tall wildflower mix: 1 pound: 50.00

Road way seed mix: This is a grassy, flower mix engineered to not need a lot of water, and withstands occasional vehicles traffic. This mix will also attract beneficial insects, bacteria, and reduce dust.

Gopher stopper seed: This is a clover seed that gophers dislike. THIS SHOULD NOT BE APPLIED IN YOUR TURF, UNLESS YOU WANT CLOVER IN YOUR GRASS. Most people try to get rid of clover in their grass. If you don't water your grass, and are going for a natural look, clover makes a great option because it requires almost no water, and doesnÕt grow very tall or fast.

The smell repels gophers. This seed is meant more for the perimeters of your property, unless you want clover in your grass.
